Why We Started?
A Question We Heard Too Many Times
Since 2014, our founder Dr. Deepika Krishna has served cancer patients as Director of Cancer Healer Center. Across thousands of conversations — mid-chemotherapy, post-surgery, deep into radiation cycles — one question kept coming back in some form:
"Doctor, what should I be eating? What should I be taking?"
It sounds simple. It isn't.
The Subject No One Was Treating Seriously
Cancer care in India is a precision discipline. Every dose, every scan, every decision is deliberated and re-checked. But the moment the conversation turned to nutrition, that same precision disappeared. Patients were left to figure it out alone — reading pharmacy shelves, asking relatives, trying whatever a neighbour's cousin had recommended.
Nutrition for cancer patients is a wide, layered subject of its own — vanishing appetite, fragile digestion, muscle wasting faster than it can be rebuilt, immunity that needs support without interfering with treatment. Getting it right takes the same rigor as any other part of oncology care. Getting it wrong can mean a patient who isn't strong enough for their next cycle.
We kept seeing supplements marketed to cancer patients that were, in truth, general wellness products with a cancer-friendly label stuck on — no oncology input, no testing on this population, no real accountability for what was inside. That gap is where we began.
How We Formulate
We didn't try to solve this with one physician's instinct alone. We brought together a team of researchers and clinicians to interrogate every ingredient the way an oncology protocol gets interrogated — for evidence, for safety, for interaction risk, for what a compromised body can actually absorb and tolerate.
Every formula goes through the same process:
-
A real clinical question — sourced from actual patient conversations in clinic, not market trends.
-
Research and review — every ingredient checked against published clinical literature, and evaluated for how it behaves in patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or recovery.
-
Formulation and internal testing — dosages built for a compromised system, not a healthy one; nothing added just because it's popular.
-
Independent third-party testing — every batch verified for purity, safety, and quality before it reaches a patient.
-
Full label disclosure — every ingredient and exact quantity disclosed, with nothing hidden behind a proprietary blend.
-
Oncology review — reviewed once more before release, so it's a label we would hand to our own patients.
What the Results Have Shown
Patients using our formulas consistently report:
-
Improved appetite within the first 2 weeks of use
-
Steadier energy through the day, with fewer mid-treatment crashes
-
An average weight gain of 0.54 kg over 12 weeks of consistent use
-
Better tolerance for treatment sessions, with a 17% reduction in chemotherapy toxicity reported in published research
-
Measurable improvements in muscle strength during recovery
These aren't wellness-industry claims. They're outcomes we track, measure, and are able to show — because that's the same standard we'd apply to any treatment decision.
What Patients and Families Tell Us
What has genuinely overwhelmed us is not the results on paper — it's what patients and their families say once they feel it for themselves. A daughter who watched her father start eating full meals again. A wife who saw her husband complete a chemotherapy cycle he'd been dreading. A patient who, for the first time in months, slept through the night without exhaustion the next morning.
We hear it again and again: "This is the first product that actually understood what my body was going through." Thousands of families have now trusted us with a part of their treatment journey, and every message, review, and thank-you note is a reminder of why this exists in the first place.
Who This Was Built For
This was never built for the general wellness market. It was built for the family sitting in a hospital corridor at 9 pm, trying to figure out how to get their mother to eat something before tomorrow's session. It was built for the patient who wants to walk into their next scan a little stronger than the last one.
If nutrition is going to be part of a cancer patient's journey — and it should be — it deserves the same precision, evidence, and honesty as every other part of their care. That is why we started Immunosciences Clinical, and it remains the only standard we measure ourselves against.
